SYRACUSE, N.Y. - UAlbany women's golf team, in newly hired head coach Gina Umeck's debut, fell just short to Niagara, 337-354, on Sunday, September 9 at Drumlin's Country Club.
Freshman Bailey Cocca led the Great Danes squad and tied the leader, Niagara's Natalie Wisniewski, with an 8+ (79) overall score. Junior Lisa Agoglia was right behind Cocca, shooting a 12-over 82 for the match.
Sophomore Cassie Orlan followed up third for UAlbany with a 91 (20+) and freshman Kim Schmidt rounded out the group with a overall 102 (31+).
UAlbany prepares for the Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, September 15.
