ALBANY, N.Y. – The University at Albany men's lacrosse team readies to host #10 Georgetown on Wednesday night in the first ever matchup between the two schools. The game is set to start at 5:00 p.m. from Casey Stadium with coverage on ESPN+.

Silas Richmond was named the America East Offensive Player of the Week. Richmond netted a team-high three goals in UAlbany's 10-9 setback against UMass on Saturday. The Preseason All-Conference selection added a ground ball and a turnover in the game. This season, Richmond leads the entire America East in assists (9), assists per game (2.25), points (19), and points per game (4.75). He sits fourth in the league in goals (10) and fifth in goals per game (2.50).

Bryant is set to host Brown tonight (March 4) in a lone Tuesday matchup. Binghamton (Siena) and UAlbany (#10 Georgetown) will play host on Wednesday with NJIT on the road at Monmouth. This Saturday, all seven teams are in action.

History with Georgetown
Wednesday night will be a historic one for the two great lacrosse schools, at it will be the first ever matchup between the Hoyas and the Great Danes.

Georgetown comes into Wednesday as the #10 team in the nation, sporting a 3-2 record. The Hoyas defeated Loyola (13-6), fell to #8 Johns Hopkins (6-11), defeated #13 Penn (8-6), fell to #1 Notre Dame (9-11), and most recently beat Brown (13-8).
