GREAT DANE REWIND
- UAlbany has competed in four races in preparation for the America East Championship.
- Both the men and the women have finished in the top four, as a team, for each of the races.
- The men's best team finishes came from the RPI Harvest Classic (9.27) and the Fall Foliage Invitational (10.20) hosted by Vermont with a second-place finish.
- The women led the RPI Harvest Classic before tallying a third-place finish at the Fall Foliage Invitational on the same course as the AE Championship.
- Tess Fitzmaurice has led the Great Dane women in all four races with three top-10 times and one additional top-15 time. She tallied a first-place finish at the RPI Harvest Classic to be named the AE Performer of the Week.
- Chris Bertola tallied the first finish for the men in the first race of the year but Jed Elmbarki topped the team in each of the following three races.
- In addition to Bertola and Elmbarki, Tom Ragone and Jared Rogalski have provided consistent points for their team. Isaac Graber and Chris Jernigan have shared time as the fifth scorer.
- Skyler Smith was the second-place finisher in each of the four women's races. Alondra Cruz-Delgado and Katie Iocca have been scorers in all four races while Scarlett Rose, Hannah Steiner, and Sophia Bisognano shared the fifth scorer spot.
MOST RECENTLY AT HARD'ACK RECREATION PARK
- The Great Danes participated in the Fall Foliage Invitational hosted by Vermont to prepare for the 2024 AE XC Championships.
- Competing against three other America East teams, the Great Dane men finished second behind Binghamton and ahead of Vermont and Bryant while the women finished third behind Binghamton and Vermont.
- Jed Elmbarki, Tom Ragone, and Jared Rogalski ran top-10 times and Chris Bertola made it four Great Danes in the first 15 finishers.
- On the women's side, Tess Fitzmaurice and Skyler Smith finished in the top 10 and Alondra Cruz-Delgado added a top-15 time.
- Elmbarki and Fitzmaurice finished fourth overall for their respective teams.
2023 AE XC CHAMPIONSHIP
- In 2023, the Binghamton women took home their program's first title with 69 points. Vermont (77) and UMass Lowell (81) finished second and third, respectively.
- UMass Lowell's men won the title in 2023. Totaling just 34 points as a team, the River Hawks beat Maine (74) and New Hampshire (94) and Binghamton (94) with less than half the points of the second-place team.
- Returning River Hawk Mary-Kate Finn led all runners for the title in 17:17.18 in Maine.
- The River Hawks swept the individual champions with returning Jan Wouter Van Den Akker seeking his second consecutive championship while in Vermont. The senior won in Maine with an 8k time of 24:07.2.

Depending on the results of the AE Championship, the Great Danes may continue their postseason at the NCAA Northeast Regionals on Friday, November 15.
