SHORT STORY: Four men competed for top marks at Harvard's Crimson Elite, Friday evening.
KEY NOTES
- Simone Menchini led all competitors with a first-place finish in the long jump. The sophomore tallied his second 25-foot (7.62-meter) jump in as many weeks.
- Both 60m sprinters made it to the finals and earned a personal record. Tooni Ogunyeye's 6.66 second-place dash is now first in the conference while Shavar Staats Jr. finished right behind him in 6.68 for second in the conference.
- Stephan Farquharson rounded out the Great Danes at the Crimson Elite with a sixth-place finish in the long jump (7.35m).
NEXT: The Great Danes will end the week at the Bruce Lehane Scarlett & White Invitational with a full-team appearance.
