SHORT STORY: The Great Dane men tabbed eight individual winners for a second-place finish at RPI's Under the Lights meet, Thursday and Friday.

KEY NOTES
- Hassan Abidi (1500) and Tom Ragone (10k) combined for the first two events win on Thursday night. Running his first 10k in track and field, Ragone entered the UAlbany top ten at sixth with a 30:38.36 time.
- The hurdlers put up two scorers in second- and third place in both the 110m hurdles and the 400m hurdles.
- With two competitors in the shot put, Isaiah Williams and Shane O'Neill wrapped up the competition in first and second place, respectively. O'Neill and Williams combined for a second- and third place finish, respectively, in the discus.
- Qualiar Newton and John Coddington did exactly the same in the hammer throw. Newton entered the UAlbany top ten at fifth with a personal record of 56.66m.
- Julio Martinez (400m), Devin Finn (3000mS), and Christian Quinn (long jump) added three event wins to make it eight throughout the meet.
