SHORT STORY: The Great Danes added 10 student-athletes to the America East's top 20 rankings at the Greg Roy-al Rumble, Saturday.

KEY NOTES
- Simone Menchini led all performers with a new school record (7.66m) in the long jump. The sophomore transfer is now ranked first in the America East and second in the Northeast.
- In an outstanding showing from the long jumpers, Stephan Farquharson, Christian Quinn, and Daniel Cephus filled out the top-four finishers with Menchini. Farquharson and Quinn are now second and third, respectively, in the conference. Farquharson's 7.25m jump is eighth in the region and Quinn's 7.17m jump is 18th in the Northeast. Cephus' 7.01m jump is sixth in the conference.
- With a personal record in the pole vault, Gabriel Snyder is now ranked second in the America East and 16th in the Northeast. His 7.65m finish tied for second at the Roy-al Rumble.
- Freshman Jose Davis-Whittaker ran a personal record in the 60m dash finals (6.91) for fourth place and a top-10 time in the conference.
- In the hurdles, Krishmar Powell added the second personal record on the day in the 60m hurdle prelims. He is now ranked 16th in the conference. Antwone Messado went on to finish second in the finals.
- Amar Brown made it two Great Danes in the America East's high jump top 10. His 1.95m finish is currently tied for seventh in the league standings.
- Shane O'Neill threw a career-best 15.15m in the shot put for a top 10 conference slot. He is the third Great Dane ranked in the top 10 for the shot put.
- UAlbany placed four competitors in the top five of the 500m - Jack Gallagher (second), Jabari Barriffe (third), Anthony Couch (fourth) and Connor Hashim (fifth). The Great Dane long jumpers taking first through fourth place made it two events with four in the top five finishers.
- Overall, UAlbany tallied two first-place finishes - 300m & 4x400mR - and six runner-up finishes - 60mH, 500m, mile, high jump, triple jump, & shot put.
