Women’s Soccer Gets Set for Home Conference Opener

Albany, N.Y. - The University at Albany women's soccer program (1-7-1, 0-0-1 America East) will take on the Bryant University Bulldogs (3-4-3, 1-0 America East) for their home conference opener.

The Great Danes are coming off a tie against UMBC on Sunday, Sept 22 and are hoping to close off their only game this week with a win against the Bryant University Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs have taken a total of 146 shots, 62 on goal, for an average of 14.6 shots per game and 0.425 shots on goal percentage. They have received a total of one yellow card and no red cards.
 
Catherine Bean has taken the most shots to date, at 26, with a close follow by Jordyn Collins who has taken 24. Bean has a total of 770 minutes on the pitch, with a total of six points scored and four assists, while her shot on goal percentage stands at 0.385. During Bryant's match against NJIT, Bean played for 90 minutes with seven shots, three of them being on goal, and three assists.
 
Jordyn Collins has taken 24 shots this season, eight of them being on goal, making her shot on goal percentage a 0.333. During Bryant's match against Rhode Island on September 12, 2024, Collins played a total of 86 minutes and scored one goal with the assistance of teammate Catherine Bean.
 
October 8, 2023, was the last time the Great Danes and Bulldogs matched up against one another which saw the Bulldogs come away with the 2-0 victory.
