BOSTON – The America East announced its 2024 women's soccer America East All-Conference Teams in a release by the office Friday afternoon.
 
 
Among the honorees, redshirt freshman and goalie 
Emily Dorfman came away with three awards after being named to the America East Second Team All-Conference, All-Rookie Team, and All-Academic Team.
 
Dorfman made 16 appearances for the Great Danes in 2024 with 15 total starts. The Atlanta, Georgia native earned her America East honors by finishing second in the nation and first in the conference in saves per game (8.38), third in the nation and first in the AE in total saves (134), second in the AE in goalie minutes played (1426:16.), and fourth in the conference in save percentage (0.784). With 37 goals allowed, Dorfman recorded a 2.33 goals-against average while facing a total of 376 shots with one shutout.
 
Aside from her athletic achievements, Dorfman also excelled academically in the classroom. Majoring in Business Administration, she's recorded a 3.73 GPA having been named to the Dean's List twice and the Commissioner's Honor Roll once.
 
The major awards for the 2024 regular season were also announced on Tuesday, November 5.
