ALBANY, N.Y. - The University at Albany women's soccer program (1-4-0, 0-0 America East) will get to take on a pair of opponents this week when they travel to Holy Cross (2-5-0, 0-0-0 Patriot League), and Colgate (1-5-1, 0-0-0 Patriot League).

Last Time Out:
The Great Danes are coming off a 2-nil loss against St. John's on Thursday, September 5
th, and are hoping to close out their five-match road trip with two wins against Holy Cros and Colgate this week.

So far this season UAlbany has scored five goals in five matches averaging a goal a game while recording 34 shots, 18 on goal, for an average of 6.8 shots per game and 0.529 shots on goal percentage. The Great Danes have only received one yellow card while recording 36 and going 1-1 on penalty kicks.

Emily Dorfman (1-4-0) continues to rack up her saves total with 36 saves against 124 shots with 16 goals allowed for a 3.20 goals against average and 0.692 save percentage. Dorfman ranks ninth in the nation and first in the conference with 7.20 saves per game while also leading the America East and ranked 24
th in the country in total saves with 36.

Looking at Holy Cross:
The Crusaders will enter Thursday's match coming off a 1-0 loss against Vermont on Sunday, September 8
th. Holy Cross has scored seven times while surrendering nine goals to its opponents while taking 68 shots, 31 on goal, for an average of 9.7 shots per game and 0.456 shots on goal percentage. They have received a total of nine yellow cards and one red card to this point in the season.

Charlotte Hanchar is the Crusaders' leading goal scorer have recorded two goals for four points off three shots, all on goal, for a 1.000 shots-on-goal percentage. Midfielder Sydney Baldwin leads the team of any field player with 595 minutes spent on the pitch and has recorded three points from one goal and one assist while also leading Holy Cross with two yellow cards.

Julia Walsh (2-3-0) has been the team's predominant keeper in net having made five starts in five appearances where she's recorded 21 saves, and five goals allowed against 55 total shots for a 1.00 goals against average and 0.808 save percentage. Olivia Dublin (0-2-0) has seen her share of time in net as well with two starts in which she's made six saves and allowed four goals for a 2.00 goals against average and 0.600 save percentage.

In the Great Danes' last match against Holy Cross back on September 2, 2015, the Purple and Gold shut out the Crusaders 5-0 at home.

Looking at Colgate:
Before Colgate welcomes UAlbany, they will first kick off against Dartmouth on Thursday, September 12
th at home. Â

After seven games, the Raiders have recorded eight goals while allowing 13 against their opponents and average 1.14 goals scored per match. In total, they've tallied 60 shots for an average of 8.6 shots per game while going 30-60 in shots on goal to shots. Â

Ari Bezanson leads Colgate with six points from three goals off 12 shots and eight shots on goals for a 0.667 shots on goal percentage and 0.250 shooting percentage. Leading the Raiders in assists in Maya Greenholz with two. At 488:44 minutes in goal, Alli Popham (1-3-0) has made all seven starts for Colgate, allowing eight goals with 34 saves for a 0.810 save percentage and 1.47 goals against average.
