The Great Danes are coming off their first conference win against UMass Lowell on Sunday, Oct. 6, which saw goals from
Selma Elverum,
Madison Hnis, and
Sophia DeMura. The Purple and Gold are hoping to earn their second conference win against the NJIT Highlanders.

Casey Stowell leads the team in points with four from two goals
off of 11 shots, five of which were on goal for

Selma Elverum leads the team in shots with 15, eight of which were on goal for
a 0.533 shots on goal percentage. Elverum also has one goal and one assist on the season. Of the field players,
Alexis Gordon leads the team in minutes with '1000 played.
In goal,
Emily Dorfman (2-9-1) has played all '1080 thus far for the Great Danes. She currently ranks second in the nation in saves per game as well as overall number of saves. The Georgia native has 107 total saves for a 0.793 save percentage.
Looking at NJIT:
The NJIT Highlanders will enter Sunday's match coming off a 2-nil loss against New Hampshire on Sunday, October 6, extending their seven-game losing streak. As a team, NJIT has scored 12 goals throughout the season with an average of 1.00 goals per game. The Highlanders have taken a total of 168 shots, 68 on goal, for an average of 14.0 shots per game and 0.405 shots on goal percentage. They have received a total of seven yellow cards and no red cards.
Clara Adams and Brinana Andreoli lead in points for NJIT with six a piece, both from two goals and two assists. Andreoli leads the team in shots with 36, 17 of them on goal for
a 0.472 shots on goal percentage. Maria Nogueira and Kennedy Westbrook lead the team in minutes played with 990 each.
Mojisola Ayodele (1-4-1) and Samantha Constantine (2-4-0) have split time evenly in goal, each keeper playing an even '540. Combined the Highlander keepers have allowed 15 goals for
a 1.50 goals against average. Ayodele leads the two in saves with 22 for a 0.710 save percentage.
September 17, 2023, was the last time the Great Danes and Highlanders matched up against one another which saw a 1-1 draw.
