After their game against UMass was cancelled due to inclement weather, the Great Danes returned to action against Fordham, playing the Rams for the first time since the 2000 season. The UAlbany defense shined against Fordham, pitching the team's second-straight shutout and also accounting for the game's only goal.Â
Charlotte Takacsy, on a set piece in the 57th minute, served the ball deep into the Fordham box to
Devon Schmitt, who netted her second career goal, to win the game.
