Short Story: The UAlbany track & field team saw a strong start to the season at Boston University, headlined by a new school and facility record from Myles Banfield.

- Águeda Muñoz Marqués won the women's mile in 5:05.02, her first collegiate track race
- Walter Briggs placed second in the men's 400m in 49.50
- Dayleen Santana Rodriguez placed second in the women's 60m in 7.58, leading four Great Danes in the finals
- Osiris Nicholson placed second in the men's 60m in 6.96
- Eight Great Danes placed in the top 19 in the women's 300m, led by Stephanie Osuji in 39.41
- Grace Claxton, running for Puerto Rico, placed second in 37.64, one of three marks under the previous facility record
- Myles Banfield won the men's 300m in a new facility record 33.62, breaking his own school record by two-tenths
- Victor Ortiz Rivera placed sixth in the men's 3,000m in 8:21.33, the sixth-fastest time in program history
- The men's 4x400m relay of Harmodio Cruz III (48.7), Walter Briggs (49.0), Jordan Lawrence (49.0), and Banfield (47.0) placed second in 3:13.96. It is the fastest December 4x400m relay in program history
- Hannah Reinhardt ran a 32-second personal-best in the women's 5,000 (17:02.52)
- In the men's 5,000m, Ryan Udvadia placed seventh in 14:15.58, just two seconds off his school record, and Kyle Gronostaj placed 18th in 14:29.06. Ricardo Estremera, running for Puerto Rico, placed third in 14:10.29
- Victor Cotto won the men's long jump in 22-01.75
- In the women's shot put, Lundy Spinner placed second in 43-00.50 and Tara Belinsky placed fourth in 42-06.25
- Annika Hibbard won the women's high jump in 5-07.00, ahead of third-place Victoria Stoffel in 5-05.00
- David Carlson placed second in the men's weight throw in 58-08.00
- Kingsley Ogbonna tied with Connecticut's Safir Scott for first place in the men's high jump in 6-09.75
- Victoria Fichtel and Lynda Brundige went two-three in the women's triple jump in 37-04.00 and 37-01.00
- Devon Willis placed second in the men's triple jump in 49-05.75
- The team earned 17 total IC4A and ECAC qualifying marks (nine men, eight women)
