SHORT STORY: A select four Great Danes competed at the Millrose Games' Weight Throw competition, Thursday afternoon.
KEY NOTES
- Stephanie Green led all college students in the women's weight throw. With a 19.35 meter throw, she finished second overall.
- Competing against national talents, Qualiar Newton finished fourth in the men's weight throw with a 19.18-meter throw. He threw the second-highest mark for a college student at the competition.
- Kiana Nosile (7th, 17.10m) and Nattaly Lindo (9th, 16.28m) also competed in the women's weight throw.
NEXT: A select few will compete at the Crimson Elite on Friday (Feb. 7) before the teams returns in full at the Bruce Lehane Scarlett and White Invitational on Saturday (Feb. 8).
