Short Story: The University at Albany men's lacrosse team earned their first win of the season over Drexel after
Silas Richmond led the way with five goals and one assist.

How it Happened:
- UAlbany opened up scoring early with a quick goal from Silas Richmond.
- Three minutes later, Max Semple provided Drexel with their first goal of the game.
- At 6:15, Brendan O'Keefe found his first collegiate goal to put the Great Danes up 2-1.
- Less than a minute later, Koleton Marquis found the back of the net for his second goal of the season.
- In his first collegiate start, Brady Smith stood his ground and held off a strong Drexel offense late in the first quarter.
- With one second left in the first quarter, Witt Crawford put a second goal on the board for the Dragons.
- With help from Ryan Doherty, Jack Hadden scored a long pole goal to kick off scoring in the second quarter. Under a minute later, Daniel Kesselring fired one in to put UAlbany up 5-2.
- Gavin Kelly added a third goal for Drexel at 12:05.
- Richmond was quick to bite back for the Great Danes by picking up a ground ball and claiming his second goal of the game.
- Drexel's Semple got his second goal of the game with 10:06 left in the second quarter.
- About five minutes later, Matt Martin earned the Dragons' fifth goal. Soon after, Alec Tulio scored the equalizer to tie the game 6-6 going into halftime.
- Will Hardy was quick to retake the lead for UAlbany with a goal less than 30 seconds into the third quarter.
- Kesselring provided an eighth goal for the Great Danes to make the score 8-6.
- About five minutes later Kesselring provided Alex Pfeiffer with his first goal of the game.
- At 4:13, Kesselring made it three for a hat trick to put the score at 10-6 in favor of UAlbany.
- Less than ten seconds later, Drexel's Semple scored his third for a hat trick.
- Richmond also earned a hat trick to add an 11th goal to the Great Danes' tally. Soon after, Conner Fingar found the back of net off a feed from Hadden to close out the third.
- Richmond ripped in his fourth goal for UAlbany to open up scoring in the fourth quarter at 13:17.
- Doherty found his first goal of the game under four minutes later to put the Great Danes ahead 14-7.
- Drexel's Tulio scored his second goal of the game at 6:52.
- Jackson Palumb scored his first goal with some help from Richmond, only seconds before Richmond netted one for himself.
- With a minute and a half left, Tristan Plott put the last point of the game on the board for the Dragons.
