GREENWOOD, Ind. - Four Great Danes from the UAlbany women's volleyball team were named CSC Academic All-District, the organization announced.
The 2024 Academic All-District Team, selected by members of College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Selected members of the Academic All-District teams advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot.

Brooke Malek have been named Academic All-District.
Leading the offensive efforts with 3.58 kills per set, Woroniuk finished third in the America East in kills per set and points per set (3.99). The Red Deer, Alberta, Canada native matched her career-high with 21 kills against UConn and garnered double-digit kills in 20 out of 24 matches played this season. A 3.83 student, the outside hitter is pursuing a degree in business administration concentrating in marketing and management.
In her senior year,
Kendall Harris played in all but five sets and recorded 208 kills. Her average of 2.19 kills per set placed her among the team leaders in offensive prowess. Excelling academically with a 3.77, the Houston, Texas native is studying biology and plans to attend medical school upon graduation in May 2025.
Tori Wilson made an impact as the teams top blocker with 68 total blocks while starting in every single match this season, including 14 solo blocks and 54 block assists. Her 1.58 kills per set showcased her ability to contribute to the team's offense. Hailing from Allen, Texas, she maintains a 3.81 while working toward a degree in communication and a minor in journalism and creative writing.
Brooke Malek finished 281 digs per set as the team's primary libero. Her defensive prowess was highlighted by her 3.70 digs per set. The Edmonton, Alberta, Canada native excels off the court as well, boasting a 3.88 while double-majoring in public health and communication.
