ALBANY, N.Y. - The University at Albany men's soccer program (4-11-2, 1-4-1 America East) returns home for the final time to take on the Bryant Bulldogs (8-5-3, 3-3-0 America East).

UAlbany enters the week following a 1-1 tie with the Binghamton Bearcats on Friday, November 1. The Great Danes' lone goal was scored by Ander Castillo, assisted by Timo Jansen. Some other standout players in Friday's game were Zach Lind, Mohamed Soumah, and keeper, Parker Kump

So far this season the Purple and Gold have scored 21 goals, averaging 1.24 goals per match, with 179 total shots, averaging 10.5 shots per match, 80 on goal, for a 0.447 shots on goal percentage.
 
As the Great Danes prepare for what's ahead, Ander Castillo and Timo Jansen top points total with 19 each. Castillo leads the team in goals with eight, and has three assists, as well as 60 shots, 27 on goal for a 0.450 shots on goal percentage. Jansen is close behind with seven goals, five assists, and 27 shots, 18 on goal for a 0.667 shots on goal percentage. The Dutchman also leads the team in minutes with '1410 on the season, and is the only player to start all 17 matches this season. Some other standouts in the field have been Ethan Cook, Zach Lind, Christos Efstathiou, Nassim Nouajaa, and Max Kwitchoff. Lind has been crucial on the offensive side these last couple of matches; while Cook, Efstathiou, Nouajaa, and Kwitchoff have shone on the defensive end, each player totaling over '1100 this season.

In goal, Parker Kump (0-6-2) helped hold Binghamton to a draw this past Friday. Kump has spent the most minutes in goal out of the three keepers this season, spending '681:09 in the net. Kump has totaled 22 saves for a 0.579 save percentage. The New York native has split time with Daniel Shannon (2-3-0) and Kodai Tsuzuki (2-2-0) this season.
 
Looking to Bryant: 
Bryant is coming off a 1-nil loss against UMBC on Nov. 1 on their home pitch.  The Bulldogs have scored 20 goals, in 16 matches while allowing 11 and tallying 211 shots, 13.2 shots per match, and 78-211 shots on goal for a 0.370 shots on goal percentage. Bryant has a total of 20 yellow cards and zero red cards.
 
Marc Pitarch-Bayot leads the Bulldogs in points with 13 from five goals, and three assists. Pitarch-Bayot has totaled 45 shots, 17 on goal for a 0.378 shots on goal percentage. Defenseman, Kerman Sukia leads the team in minutes, having played all '1440 for the Bulldogs this season. Sukia, along with Santiago Blasco Gomez, and Abdel Talabi have started all 16 matches for Bryant this season. Oscar Sears leads the team in yellow cards with four.

In goal, Antreas Hadjigavriel (6-5-3) and Ramon Camejo (2-0-0) have split time this season for Bryant. Hadjigavriel leads Camejo in minutes with 1275:48, and has started 14 of 16 matches. Hajgavriel has 11 goals against for a 0.69 goals against average, and totals 34 saves for a 0.786 save percentage.

The last time these two teams met was in Smithfield, R.I. on Saturday, October 21, 2023. The match saw the Bulldogs come away with a 3-1 victory.
