Head Coach Leigh Howard: "To come up here and grab a win on the road in such cold and windy conditions was great for this group. We played hard, paid attention to the details, attacked Vermont at pace, and that paid off. We are extremely proud of how the players bounced back from a tough result last Sunday and continued to move forward in our growth as a program."

How it Happened
Â
- Signaling their offensive pressure early, Olivia Piraino ripped her first shot of the game in the eighth minute, only to see her attempt blocked by the Vermont defense. The Great Danes drew their first of six corner kicks in the 16th minute, resulting in another blocked shot from Hailey Summers.
- In the 19th minute, Jasmine Colbert broke through with her second goal of the season to put UAlbany on the board. Two minutes later, she wound up another shot that sailed high over the crossbar.
- Jasmine's twin sister Jada ripped off two shots in less than a minute, both of which were saved by Catamount goalkeeper Lydia Kessel, who finished the game with 11 saves. At halftime, UAlbany maintained its 1-0 lead, having outshot Vermont 9-2 in the first 45 minutes.
- Freshman Iola Cotter put UAlbany up 2-0 in the 78th minute off a setup from Ava Hanna, netting her first goal of the season and her first as a member of the UAlbany program. The goal clinched the game for the Great Danes, ending the team's two-game skid.
- UAlbany finished the game outshooting Vermont 22-9 overall, and drew six corner kicks to Vermont's zero. UAlbany has now won three-straight against the Catamounts, and eight of the last nine.
