Short Story: The UAlbany volleyball team defeated UMBC in five sets to secure its first America East win of the season Friday night.

Coach Pickard: “We came out strong early in the match and played well. UMBC made some adjustments and we took a bit of time to make our own. I'm proud of the way we battled through all five sets and came out with a win. The team has worked hard to play as a unit and we did that tonight.”
