Durham, N.H. ? Julie O'Shaughnessy had a goal and an assist to lead New Hampshire to a 3-0 America East Conference win in women's soccer action on Sunday Oct. 7 at Lewis Fields.
Michelle Sheehan gave the Wildcats a 1-0 lead in the 34th minute when she lobbed a shot over Great Danes keeper Maria Liguori. O'Shaughnessy and Caitlin Whelan were credited with the assists.
UNH (7-4-1, AE 3-0) would add a pair on insurance goals in the second half. O'Shaughnessy tallied off of a rebound in the 57th minute and Shaunna Kaplan scored an unassisted goal with just under 13 minutes to play in the game to seal the victory.
Liguori made 10 saves in goal for UAlbany, while Nikki Golding stopped six shots in for UNH in the shutout.
UAlbany (3-6-3, AE 0-3) will return to America East Conference action on Thursday Oct.11 when they host Binghamton at 3 p.m.
