Ferdynand Marek Roczniak joined UAlbany as an Assistant Director of Facilities and Event Management in June of 2003.
As Assistant Director of Facilities and Event Management, Roczniak ensures all aspects of the facilities are ready for competition including the coordination of routine and long-term maintenance projects, collaboration with campus staff (UPD, UAS, physical plant, etc.), and proper operation of game equipment. In addition, he serves as the lead facilities game day administrator for men's soccer, women's soccer, women's lacrosse, and softball events, while assisting with various other athletics events.
Prior to UAlbany, Roczniak was a physical education teacher and a school principal. Additionally, he holds a master degree of Tae Kwon Do (IV degree black belt) and a soccer license D.
Roczniak graduated from the University at Szczecin in Poland with a diploma of master degree in physical education.
