AE Academic Honor Roll … second on the team, top 15 in the conference, with seven goals … top five on the team with 16 points … second on the team with three game-winning goals, including the overtime goal in the NCAA First Round upset against #4 Michigan (11.11) … started all 21 games on the season … opened her collegiate career with one goal and one assist against Northeastern (8.27) … added one goal against #11 Penn State (9.3) and Fairfield (9.4) … scored a goal in four additional games - Yale (9.18), UC Davis (10.9), New Hampshire (11.4), and #4 Michigan (11.11) … assisted a goal against California (9.23) … totaled seven goals, including three game-winning goals, and two assists for 16 points on 23 shots on goals from 31 shots.

Sykes on Schoonmaker

I have known Sophia for a long time now. Her aunt, Danielle Costello, was a senior on my first UAlbany team and her Uncle Dan played baseball for the Great Danes. She is very fast, athletic, and extremely competitive. I think she will add a great deal to our attack.
