America East Second Team All-Conference … AE All-Academic … NFHCA National Academic Squad … NFHCA Scholar of Distinction … CSC Academic All-District … 10th in the nation, second in the conference, with a .769 win-loss average … top-30 in the NCAA, and the conference leader, with a 1.51 goals against average … started 15 of 18 games played … was the team’s primary goalkeeper having played 10 full games … saved a season-high seven shots at Cornell (Sept. 10) … added six saves against California (Sept. 22) and UNC (Oct. 15) … totaled 50 saves for a .667 save percentage with a 1.51 goals against average and a 10-3 goalie win-loss record.

NFHCA Scholar of Distinction … NFHCA National Academic Squad ... AE Commissioner's Honor Roll … started two of four games played … saved a season-high three shots against #22 Ohio State (8.28) … totaled six saves on the season.

Played four years of field hockey at Carl von Ossietzky Gymnasium Hamburg, four time regional winner, was named captain for one year.

Lara has a brother Tom Behn… she intends to major in communications here at UAlbany.

Lara is a high-level player. Having played in the German 1st Bundesliga and at such a quality club means she is prepared for any situation. We are beyond excited to have her joining our team and think she will be an excellent addition both on and off the field.
