Pollitt was a four-year letter-winner in track and field and a three-year letter-winner in football as a wide receiver and defensive back at St. Augustine Prep School. Pollitt was named team captain during his sophomore, junior, and senior years. In his senior season, Pollitt recorded 48 tackles, three interceptions, 13 receptions, 116 yards, and one kick return touchdown. In 2011 and 2012, he was named Second Team All-Non-Public A in track. He was a member of the 2012 football and 2010 track league championship teams. In addition to track and football, Pollitt was a member of National Honor Society, French National Honor Society, and the Math Club.

Justyce Vernon Pollitt was born on June, 27, 1995 to Anthony Pollitt Sr. and Jannell L. Bird. He has one brother, Anthony L. Pollitt Jr. He plans to major in human biology.
