GAME ONE
RECORDS: UAlbany 0-6, 0-0 America East | Bellarmine 2-5, 0-0 ASUN

KEY STATS
- Freshman Charlotte hit an RBI single.
- Junior Sara Anderson added a single.
- Getting on base twice with a walk, junior Deanna Grahek scored the lone UAlbany run.
- Redshirt-senior Kate Powers pitched a complete game with three strikeouts in seven innings.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Knights got an early lead with two runs in the top of the first.
- Sara Anderson tallied the first Great Dane hit of the afternoon with a strong hit to the pitcher for a single.
- In the bottom of the fifth, Deanna Grahek drew a walk to get on base.
- With two outs on the board, Charlotte Lomb hit a single up the middle to drive in Grahek from third base.
- Bellarmine added two runs in the top of the seventh to seal the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Great Dane defense collected three outs in three batters in the first inning. Despite allowing a bunted single, UAlbany got the out at second by catching the runner stealing.
- Caitlyn Frederick added a single in the top of the third but was left on second base.
- Victoria Vilarchao hit a single through the left side in the top of the fourth. She advanced to second off a throwing error by the shortstop.
- Freshman Kaitlyn Parisi, running for Vilarchao, advanced to third during a single from Deanna Grahek before scoring on a sac fly by Vanessa Meyers.
- The Wildcats answered with a two-run homer. Both runs were unearned.
- Taylor Quinn hit a single to shortstop in the top of the fifth but she was left on base.
- The Great Danes put a final runner on base with Grahek's second walk of the game but she was unable to score and Bethune-Cookman took the one-run win.
NEXT: UAlbany will continue the weekend with a doubleheader against Butler on Saturday (Mar. 1).
