Tickets are required for admission to the NC State games. They will be sold online and will be available as a daily pass.

GREAT DANE REWIND
- UAlbany finished the 2023 season with a 24-20 record, going 11-7 in America East play.
- Of the 11 active players (2 PA/G and 75% of games played for batters, 1 IP/G for pitchers), nine have returned - Morgan Petty, Caitlyn Mitros, Maddi Petrella, Jordan Nastos, Caitlyn Frederick, Sara Anderson, Deanna Grahek, Wendi Hammond, and Kate Powers.
- Of the 11 active players, five saw the field for all 44 games on the season and all five have returned - Petty, Mitros, Petrella, Nastos, and Grahek.
- UAlbany finished the 2021 season with a 23-19 record, going 12-6 in America East play.
- Petty led the America East Conference with 56 hits while sharing the lead with four triples and finishing second with a .409 batting average, 33 runs, 21 stolen bases, and a .672 slugging percentage. She also added a top-five number with seven home runs and 35 RBI.
- Rounding out Great Danes ranked in the top 10 of the league in various stat categories, Mitros, Petrella, and Nastos helped to lead the conference.
- Mitros (.356 batting average, 48 hits, and 18 stolen bases) and Nastos (48 hits, 10 doubles, and 31 RBI) finished in the top five with their respective stat totals.
- Petrella helped close out the top 10 with a .341 batting average, 45 total hits, five home runs, and 28 RBI.
- UAlbany's starting pitcher, Hammond led the conference with 13 wins, 25 starts, 15 complete games, five shutouts, and 155.0 innings pitched.
- Powers followed Hammond with 10 wins, 15 starts, seven complete games, two shutouts, and 99.2 innings pitched.
- In the field, Petrella is the top returner with 132 putouts while Grahek led all fielders with 81 assists.
ABOUT NC STATE
- The Wolfpack will head into their second home tournament after two weekends of competition.
- Beginning at the NFCA Leadoff Classic (Feb. 9-11) in Clearwater, Florida, NC State went 2-3 throughout the weekend. With wins over Missouri State and St. Johns, they fell to Iowa, Missouri, and Western Kentucky.
- Returning home to host the Marucci Classic (Feb. 16-18), the Wolfpack added six wins (North Dakota State, Campbell (x2), Elon (x2), and UConn).
- Michele Tarpey leads the team with a .423 batting average while Amanda Hasler leads with 13 total hits, including three home runs and a team-high two doubles.
- Taylor Ensler has totaled four home runs and eight RBI to lead the team. Makayla Marbury shares the lead with eight RBI from nine hits, including one double, one triple, and two home runs.
- On the mound, the Wolfpack has had five different pitchers throughout its 11 games.
- Rylee Wyman leads with a 1.84 ERA, three wins, and 22 strikeouts in three starts.
- Madison Inscoe follows with a close 1.88 ERA and 20 strikeouts in three starts.
ABOUT IONA
- The Gaels will open their season at the Wolfpack Classic.
- In 2023, they went 21-31-1 with a 10-10 MAAC record.
- Iona returns its top three batters from 2023 - Jamie Sheeran (.329), Kayla Haywood (.292), and Kaylin Flukey (.250).
- In addition to leading the team with her .329 batting average, she also owned a team-high 16 home runs, 40 RBI, 48 total hits, and 25 runs.
- The Gael's best pitcher (Kara Zazzaro - 1.96 ERA) graduated and they will be returning their other two active pitchers - Alyssa DeJianne (nine starts, two complete games, four wins, and 29 strikeouts) and Samantha Rieb (17 starts, three complete games, three wins, and 56 strikeouts).
PICKED FOURTH
- The Great Danes were picked to finish fourth in the 2024 America East Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- UAlbany tallied 14 points and no first-place votes.
- UMBC topped the poll with 23 points and four first-place votes while Binghamton followed closely with 22 points and two first-place votes.
- UMass Lowell sat just above UAlbany with 17 points.
- Maine (9) and Bryant (4) followed to close out the poll.
