- Meredith Blannett of the Great Danes recorded the first shot of the match on a header attempt off a corner kick from Sydney Waits that missed wide left in the first '0 of the match.
- Emma Mitchell attempted the River Hawks' first shot in the '6, missing high and right.
- Selma Elverum recorded the first goal of the match in the '9 0 off great passes from Charlie Pawli and Sydney Waits to put the Great Danes ahead 1-0 with a shot to the top left corner of the net.
- Less than 21 seconds later still in the '9 Madison Hnis scored on a cross from the right side of the penalty box from Claire Owens, finding the back of the net to give UAlbany a 2-0 lead.
- The '25 saw Emily Dorfman make her first save of the match.
- Sophia DeMura put the Great Danes ahead 3-0 in the '42, following a pass from Madison Wisheart, DeMura dribbled a third off the way up the pitch eventually taking a shot just inside the penalty which found its way past the River Hawks keeper into the middle of the net.
- UMass Lowell nearly found themselves on the board of a close opportunity that was saved by the crossbar in the '64.
