GREAT DANE REWIND
- UAlbany opened the 2022 season in Rock Hill, South Carolina at the Winthrop Eagles Tournament (Feb. 18-20) before competing in the 2022 Spring Games at Madeira Beach (Mar. 3-5).
- In South Carolina, the Great Danes went 2-3 with wins against Winthrop and Ball State and losses against Robert Morris (twice) and Youngstown State. UAlbany tallied three wins and two losses in Florida - beating MTSU, Georgia Southern, and Georgetown.
- In their last four contests, the Great Danes are 2-2. They saw two losses at Towson (3/11) before the rest of the tournament was canceled due to weather.
- Most recently, UAlbany swept CCSU in a doubleheader (3/16). The second game finished in six innings after the Great Danes scored their 14th run.
- Morgan Petty leads the team batting 20-42 for a .476 batting average and a .905 slugging percentage. The junior owns a team-high four home runs and 19 RBI. For her efforts, Petty was named the America East Player of the Week after the first week of competition.
- Maddi Petrella (.386) and Caitlyn Mitros (.385) follow with their respective batting averages.
- Katie Falotico owns a team-high 10 multi-base hits (eight doubles, one triple, one home run).
- On the mound, four Great Dane pitchers own an ERA less than 1.5. Amelia Freitas leads with a 1.21 ERA in 14.0 innings. Briana Garrett follows with a 1.31 ERA in 5.1 innings.
- Wendi Hammond leads with 34.2 innings in the circle, including three complete games, totaling a team-high 28 strikeouts.
- Falotico leads in the field with 53 putouts while Lové Drumgole leads with 29 assists.
ABOUT COLGATE
- The Raiders are 8-13 on the season.
- After their first two weekends of play, both in North Carolina, Colgate held a winning record, 6-4.
- In Arizona (Feb. 25-27), the Raiders went 2-3, earning wins against Incarnate Word and Pacific.
- Most recently, Colgate's spring break trip saw six losses in Alabama.
- Jillian Herbst leads at the plate, batting .382, while Taylor Ludwick has totaled a team-high four home runs.
- Adrienne Nardone owns a team-high 10 RBI.
- In the circle, Kaitlyn Borruso leads with a 4-1 record and a 2.83 ERA. Bailey Misken has seen a team-high 63.1 innings with 62 strikeouts.
ABOUT MANHATTAN
- The Jaspers are 5-12 on the season.
- Earning its first win against Sacred Heart (3/13), Manhattan tallied eight losses to begin the season.
- After four more losses, the Jaspers tallied four-straight wins against Hartford (3/18), Wagner (x2, 3/20), and St. John's (3/22).
- Annie Moore leads the team with a .353 batting average, three home runs, and 11 RBI.
- Megan Hedlund is tied with Moore with three homers.
- In the circle, Ava Metzger owns a team-low 4.19 ERA in a team-high 43.0 innings. Her 29 strikeouts lead all five Jasper pitchers.
ABOUT RHODE ISLAND
- The Rams are 5-16 on the season with a 1-4 conference record.
- URI started the season with three tournaments, collecting a 4-11 record from games in North Carolina and Florida.
- Before falling in a doubleheader against UMass (3/20), the Rams split a two-day series against Dayton, 1-2 (3/16-17).
- Most recently, Rhode Island saw a single game against Providence (3/22) for an eight-inning loss.
- Before heading to UAlbany, the Rams will go against Fordham for a two-day three-game conference series.
- Sami Villarreal leads with five doubles and a .303 batting average.

ABOUT MARIST
- The Red Foxes are 11-15 on the season.
- After five tournaments, the doubleheader against UAlbany will be Marist's first single-opponent trip.
- Marist went 1-5 in Wilmington, N.C. (2/18-20) to open the season. The Red Foxes continued with a 4-1 record at Stetson (2/25-27) to even their overall record (5-5).
- Marist continued with a 2-3 record in Louisiana (3/4-6), a 2-4 record in Arizona (3/11-15), and a 2-3 record in California (3/17-19).
- Shea Walsh leads with a .364 batting average and six doubles.
- Five Red Foxes have tallied multiple homers as Caroline Baratta leads with four and Miah McDonald leads with 17 RBI.
- Putting just three pitchers in the circle, Kiley Myers owns a team-low 3.52 ERA in 53.2 innings. Maddie Pleasants has seen the most pitching time with 60 strikeouts in 78.1 innings.

- The Great Danes were picked to finish third in the 2022 America East Preseason Coaches' Poll.
