- The Great Danes jumped to an early 3-0 lead in the first inning with a single from Petrella and a sac fly from Katie Falotico.
- The Blue Devils scored their lone run in the third inning to close the lead to two runs.
- UAlbany had base runners score in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings.
- Caitlyn Frederick notched a double to drive in Hammond in the fourth while Drumgole and Falotico added an RBI each as Petty and Drumgole scored in the fifth.
- Frederick and Caitlyn Mitros tallied the Great Danes' final runs of the first game to take the 8-1 lead in the top of the sixth.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Blue Devils tallied the first runs of the second game, taking a 2-0 lead after the first inning.
- Sierra Fretz and Schuyler Ossman tied the score with an RBI each in the second inning but CCSU grabbed the lead once more with a home run in the bottom of the third.
- The Great Danes notched their first lead of the second game in the fifth inning after Caitlyn Mitros and Alexis Phillips scored.
- After a second Blue Devil homer, the score was tied once again, 4-4, in the bottom of the fifth.
- UAlbany totaled seven hits and 10 runs in the sixth inning to end the game on the run rule as a Great Dane victory, 14-4.
