Coach Jon Mueller: "We surrendered two three run leads in game one and made critical mistakes which opened up big innings. The guys battled all weekend but we didn't get the results we wanted. We will regroup and prepare for Maine."

How it Happened Game 1
- UAlbany started the game with four baserunners in the first two innings, but could not capitalize. In the third inning, the Great Danes struck for the game's first runs.
- After Dolan Ocasal walked and Will Feil reached on an error, Brad Malm hit a one-run double that drove in Ocasal. Josh Gurnack followed two batters later with a two-run double to center field as the Great Danes took a 3-0 lead.
- In the bottom half, however, Hartford rallied to tie the game. With runners on first and second and one out, the Hawks hit an RBI double, single and groundout that led to three runs, as they tied the game 3-3.
- UAlbany took the lead back in the fourth with a John Daly RBI triple, but Hartford immediately responded with a sacrifice fly in the bottom half. In the fifth inning, the Great Danes tacked on three more runs.
- A Gurnack single, followed by a Marc Wangenstein two-run home run, gave UAlbany a 7-4 lead. The home run was Wangenstein's second of the series and the 23rd of his career, moving him to tied-second in program history.
- In the bottom of the sixth, Hartford scored two runs on two separate groundouts that cut the UAlbany lead to 7-6.
- With a chance to seal the game in the seventh, UAlbany gave up a game-tying one-run double as the game headed to extra innings.

How it Happened Game 2
- Hartford's first five, and seven of their first eight, batters of the second game reached base with four hits, two walks and one error. In that stretch, the Hawks scored five runs off UAlbany starter Connor Takacs and took an early 5-0 lead.
- After two scoreless innings, UAlbany cut into the lead when Josh Gurnack scored on a balk and Jason Bottari hit into an RBI groundout.
- With the lead cut to 5-2 in the fourth inning, Hartford responded with three runs in the bottom half. A two-run single and sacrifice fly gave the Hawks an 8-2 lead.
- UAlbany immediately got the three runs back when Will Feil hit an RBI single, Johnny Marti grounded out that scored Feil and Gurnack hit an RBI infield single to cut the lead to 8-5.
- In a back-and-forth game after the first inning, Hartford scored two runs of their own in the bottom of the fifth on an RBI single and steal at home to extend the lead back to five, 10-5.
- The Great Danes added another run in the sixth inning when Dolan Ocasal reached on an error and John Daly scored. Hartford added two more insurance runs in the bottom half on a wild pitch, followed by a single, that gave the Hawks a 12-6 lead.
- UAlbany was unable to score in the seventh and fell 12-6 in game two as Hartford secured its doubleheader sweep of the Great Danes.
