RICHMOND – Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Football has honored 877 student-athletes as members of the Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for the 2024 fall semester. In total, 38 members of the UAlbany football team were named to the list.
 
The conference now honors student-athletes for three different levels of achievement. Those with a 4.0 grade point average are recognized as High Honors with Distinction. Student-athletes with a GPA between 3.7 and 4.0 are recognized as High Honors. Student-athletes with a GPA between 3.0 and 3.7 are recognized as Honors.
 
Four Great Danes represented UAlbany with a High Honors with distinction, six were represented with high honors, and 28 were represented with honors.
 
From the CAA as a whole, 72 student-athletes earned High Honors with Distinction, 154 achieved High Honors, and 651 received Honors.
 
Student-athletes on the Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll must have attained a minimum grade point average of 3.0 during the designated academic term and been enrolled as a full-time student.
