"Two close ballgames today.  Dom Savino had a solid outing despite the first.  Kenny McLean battled through 5 innings and we were close in both games.  Give Manhattan credit the did enough to come away with the victories."

Short Story: After winning Game 1 of the series, UAlbany dropped its final two games against Manhattan.

Key Stats:

• Game 1- Dominic Savino pitched 6.0 innings, allowing five runs on four hits with two strikeouts.
• Nick Kondo was 2-for-3 with two runs.
• Brad Malm was 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
• Game 2- Kenny McLean pitched 5.0 innings, allowing four runs on seven hits and four strikeouts.
• Ray Weber pitched 2.1 innings, allowing two runs on four hits and one strikeout.
• Connor Takacs pitched the final 0.2 innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits.
• Patrick Lagravinese was 2-for-5 with one run
• Travis Collins was 2-for-2 with one run.
• Marc Wangenstein was 2-for-5 with a homerun and four RBI.

Game 1:  

• Manhattan started off strong, scoring five runs on four hits at the bottom of the first inning.
• Nick Kondo scored on a wild pitch to give UAlbany its first run at the top of the second.
• An  RBI from Brad Malm and Jason Bottari gave UAlbany and additional two runs at the top of the seventh.

Game 2:

• UAlbany came out the gates fast, scoring three runs off of a homerun by Marc Wangenstein at the top of the first.
• Manhattan scored a run at the bottom of the first and an additional two runs the bottom of the fourth.
• UAlbany scored another run at the top of the fifth off an RBI from Marc Wangenstein.
• Manhattan scored three more runs at the bottom of the fifth, seventh, and eighth innings respectively.
